Oriental Palace - Navan (an uaimh)

Lovely lovely food. Wait staff very nice but I've never in my life seen such awful dirty carpets, they stick to your shoes when walking. Overall food was great though and staff good.

Only getting around to this review now after reading the other 1 star review and realising we had the same experience. My house would order multiple times a week (different people mainly). We got a hair in our beef satay and called back up to report it and get a new order we told they would send a new one out and sorry and to send back the hair in the container . But like the other review we then had a second phone call saying the hair wasn't there's as it was the wrong length and colour and offer for a refund was recended !! For their restaurant. (It was about 4 inches and black and wrapped around the beef when we opened the container. So after heated calls back and forward we said forget it. And haven't ordered since. Like the hair was disgusting but the main issue like the other 1 star review from another user was the way they are all nice then switch and then blame you and lie about their mistake. It's not just the food that was disgusting!!

We were visiting the area for sporting event so we popped in here, good parking pay), access to the restaurant via stairs. The staff very welcoming, the restaurant itself spacious,comfortable with attractive lighting. The menu has a vast variety, keenly priced, i personally had a beautiful chicken dish, the entire three courses we had was met very favourably, tasty and well presented. We look forward to the next visit to the area, nothing was to much hassle for the staff..a very enjoyable evening.

I order regularly from this restaurant but unfortunately i got food poisoning from my take out order on Sunday evening. I called the restaurant on Monday to let them know and after a series of questions my number was taken and I was advised they will speak to the person that took my order and call me back. I never got a call back, so I called back today and they said my food poisoning couldn't have come from them because no one else called about getting sick. The person that took my order lied and said i had ordered my food to be very spicy and they used this as a justification for why i got sick after eating the food. Also the lady i was speaking to was very condescending and said they spike to a doctor and the doctor advised the food poisoning was not from them. How they came to this conclusion I wouldn't know. After being very unhelpful the lady i spoke to said the owner could offer me 20% discount on my next order after I got sick from the food. I used to like the restaurant but after my experience I would give them a zero star review.

Lovely place to go even for Sunday Lunch the menu is very good and very reasonably priced. Food and service is top notch and it is a nice, warm welcoming restaurant .
