Maguires Cafe - Navan

Busy, wasn't rushed though. Good fresh wrap and the pies were enjoyed too. Couldn't resist the cakes, carrot cake was lovely!

I was there with my sister and we had lunch which was very good .The staff were very friendly and helpful. The.whole area is well worth a visit . Michael the owner and his family are very welcoming

Well we had a lovely walk on the Hill of Tara and we were looking forward to our lunch in Maguires. Did not mind queuing for a table but after 40minute wait and not getting our food and the two tables beside us that came in after us gave their order and received their food before us. I did enquire regarding our food but we got no reply back!!! So we left very hungry and disappointed!

I had the chowder my other half had the steak sandwich. Staff were busy but courteous and food was tasty and good value. Would definitely come back again!

Maguires was always top of my list for a catch up with friends but standards have seriously dropped over the last few years. Yesterday was beyond a joke. Staff were in experienced, out of their depth and rude. Toilets blocked and not flushing. Outdoor tables were clearly not being wiped down between customers and were absolutely filthy. When we finished our food we decided to get a coffee and cake for the road. The couple ahead of us asked for two Irish coffees which had to be remade 3 times due to mistakes made by staff. They then proceeded to tell us the card machine wasn’t working and explained to the couple how to walk to the nearest atm to pay!! A real shame as it used to be a great spot but they don’t deserve the business now!
