Dontaco Tacotruck

Definitely my new favorite go-to taco place near Camarillo! Don Taco is an awesome food truck that's technically in Somis and one of the few places that serves delicious late-night Mexican food (past 8 pm in the sleepy town of Camarillo, haha). The service was fast and friendly and prices were reasonable for a street taco (in this economy). There is a table and some stools next to the truck, but I typically take it to go.I was happy to see that they had many of the staple meats here like asada, pastor, pollo, chorizo, carnitas, and cabeza, and was even more surprised that they had birria and tripas! However, I wish they had lengua which is my absolute favorite!We ordered the asada, pastor, carnitas, and birria street tacos and they were all so delicious. The meats were perfectly cooked and seasoned so well. We also ordered the shrimp and asada taco and WOW that one was amazing. The flavors of this taco melded so well together and there was even an avocado slice! I love a good verde sauce and Don Taco's is up there. I've been on a quest and I'm so happy I found a great spot to fulfill my taco needs. Some of my favorite taco spots are in LA and Don Taco is definitely comparable.I'm coming back to try their burritos and Asada fries!*Hot tip: service is fast, but sometimes there's a line so you can call in your order for pick up!

This food truck is always great. They are also one of the only Mexican places to grab food after 8pm in Camarillo. The California burrito and tacos are our go to. Make sure to try both salsas. The hot one is hot but the flavor is to die for! Special hint...you can call your order in a head of time so you don't have to wait. This truck can get pretty busy! The guys are all so friendly as well!

Not good. I ordered the California burrito for get this... $11.20. Half the burrito was just the tortilla folded over itself. Skimped me on salsa too, they put one in the bag and you have to ask for more which took 5 mins because no one came to the window. Bad service, bad food, outrageous prices. Don't go here.

Great Street food, Great taste, Open late.I ordered a chicken quesadilla and a cali chicken burrito. Asked them to load both with grilled veggies. And they obliged.

Awesome street tacos! I might be addicted and given how close I live, in trouble lol. Our first trip to Don Taco! We ordered 6 street tacos (3 beef and 3 chicken). Perfect flavor and the green salsa took it to the next level. Red salsa was super hot, but also delish. Can't wait to return and explore the menu. Burritos looked sooo good. Don Taco is a food truck near Somis, and is usually open from 5:45-10 pm. Prices are good and food is fresh and flavorful. Will be back soon!
