While it's not a total dive, it does have a bit of a worn-down feel. I decided to give it a try and ordered the Cuban mix sandwich, but I found it to be quite unappetizing. The accompanying fries were disappointing as well—limp and soggy instead of crispy. Overall, this was one of the few places where I left feeling unsatisfied.
The atmosphere was clean and relaxing, and the service provided by the staff was exceptional.
Great little swimming area to bring younger children. Only one area where it can be considered deeper than the rest. Water gets murky if the bottom is disturbed. Saw a small variety of fish, jellyfish and horseshoe crab. Area is nice and clean. The rinse station isn't great.
Although I couldn't place my order because they were overwhelmed with them and one staff on hand. I had one tuna taco off a friend's plate and it was delicious.
My partner, a retired Master Sergeant from the USAF, and I recently visited Navigators after paddle boarding at the Boca Chica Navy base. We stopped in for a snack and a drink, and we ordered the grouper bites, which were absolutely delicious. The bartender and the woman behind the bar were incredibly friendly and welcoming. If you're in the area and have the chance to visit the base, we highly recommend stopping by! We look forward to returning to Key West next time.
