Since 2013, The Sportsman has been under new ownership, and there have been numerous improvements both inside and out. The food is wonderful, and the atmosphere is great. Don't miss the delicious green chili burger—it's a must-try! Make sure to stop by and meet the two sisters who run the place. They truly deserve five stars!

Since 2013, The Sportsman has undergone significant improvements both inside and out. It offers a fantastic dining experience in a great atmosphere. You should definitely stop by and meet the two sisters who run the place—they're truly wonderful! I give it five stars!

However, for some reason, The Sportsman closes at 9 PM, which means anyone eager for a late evening of fishing can't make it to the restaurant before it shuts its doors. My friend and I fished on a weekend in mid-June this year, and we tried in vain to have dinner there on both Friday and Saturday nights. The days are long in June, and we arrived just a few minutes after closing time. During our visit, we noticed 4-5 other groups also stopping by in hopes of enjoying dinner and a cold drink. It seems like a missed opportunity for The Sportsman. Perhaps it would be worth extending their hours to 10:30 PM on weekends?

We appreciate the loyalty of our previous customers and try to win back your hearts and stomach. To set all rumors straight... At this point, there was no change in property. Sportsman is under new management with exciting changes in the future.

After meeting the new owner Crystal and trying out a bite to eat I know they stole my mother and planted her in the kitchen. With the hospitality and friendly service you will not be disappointed. I miss mamma's goodies and who ever is in that kitchen is amazing. I look forward to taking a business trip back next time I may bring the company employees to share in the great spirits and amazing food!
