D'angelo Grilled Sandwiches - Natick

I had a highly disappointing experience at the eastbound location of this restaurant on August 18, 2019. I ordered a cranberry chicken salad on a whole grain roll, and it turned out to be the worst sandwich I've ever had. The roll was dry and stale, and there was hardly any chicken salad on it, which was also quite dry. The tomatoes consisted of just two small slices. I regret not checking my order before leaving, but being on a turnpike, they probably assume customers won’t return. If I wanted a roll with no filling, I certainly wouldn’t pay ten dollars for it. This meal was unacceptable, and they should be embarrassed to offer it. I strongly recommend against visiting this place.

Don’t laugh, but if you're in New England, there are probably thousands of spots to get a lobster roll. Yet, D’Angelo's at this rest stop serves the best, freshest, and most delicious lobster roll you can find. During my four years in college, driving from New York to Boston (Go Yankees!), we finally stumbled upon this gem. Now, we always, and I mean always, stop here on our way home to indulge in a couple of lobster rolls. Occasionally, if someone asks, we even bring some back for friends and family. They’re perfectly crafted with generous chunks of lobster and just the right amount of dressing. Try it out, and I'm sure you'll be hooked on their lobster roll too!

I visit this restaurant often, and the food is always amazing! You really can’t go wrong with a hot steak #9.

Steak Cheese #9 is incredible! I can’t believe I forgot to pick up a lobster roll before leaving Massachusetts. This place is outstanding. The pizza is also delicious and is available under a different brand name.

The food was enjoyable, but I would rate the service as zero stars. We waited around 10 minutes for someone to come over and assist us.
