Shoney's - Natchez

The breakfast buffet is fantastic, and the holiday buffets are also impressive. It’s usually our top choice when we don’t feel like cooking on Thanksgiving or Christmas. Being a buffet, there are occasionally one or two dishes that don’t quite hit the mark, but overall it’s very good and the prices are reasonable.

The restaurant has a lovely and friendly atmosphere, with affordable meals and a great selection in the buffet bar. However, I was disappointed when my medium steak arrived more like well-done—at least two levels drier than I prefer.

This place was rather sad. The lights were not up, so we were not sure if it was even open. It was even though we had taken this as a sign to eat somewhere else. As soon as we got in, the guy behind the counter made eye contact and turned and muted away. We finally sat with a nice lady. Most buffet food was old, obviously reheated and recycled several times. But the fried chicken was very good, it was just kind of hard to find something to eat. But still we didn't have any ill effects, so it wasn't a total loss.

Had a casual buffet. Fried chicken etc. Food was okay, nothing special. Blande usually tasted. Unfortunately, the salad was stabbed and the crumbs were soft. Drinks not included with buffet price, so ready for the $3 drinks.

It was not a clean place .. You had to wait for food on buffet due to it being a Sunday it was packed ..Management should have prepared team better . When we first walked in , we had to wait to be seated yet it over 4 employees standing in the bay area. Our plates stayed on our tables , the waitress brought our drinks several times yet she never removed the empty cups and plates. What we did eat it was atleast hot due to the wait. But will never go again
