Pirate Republic Taproom - Nassau

Staff not friendly when we asked about if they were open. It seems the new Sip Sip place will open shortly. According to the staff within 2 weeks.

Got a table for 3 outdoors at 6:25pm. Ordered 2 burgers and a tuna salad. It's now over an hour later 7:30pm, and our food still isn't out.

Decent beer, good bar food, fast and kind service. Would go again.

This was our first meal in the bahamas... surprisingly a lot of the dining spots were closed and this was the only one open... we ordered the guava barbecued pork wings... unbelievable flavor... something new... really good... ordered the barbecue pulled pork as well which was decent... also had a black beer stout which was also fine... first time tasting a chocolate malt... still giving it a 5 star just because it offered a couple of things new...

We visited as the sun was about to set and were able to enjoy the fading light and action outside on the marina. Beautiful start to dinner. For starters, I had the Black Beer'd Stout. A chocolate stout that was as dark as a pirate flag and tasted of adventure not sweet but spiced a bit with cocoa from the islands. The main meal was the pulled pork sandwich that comes with a healthy helping of their own potato chips. The chips are cut thicker that your store bought variety and are lightly salted. The entire dinner party loved them! There was a small band up the marina from us providing nice atmosphere w/o being too loud. After dinner we wandered up the marina and danced to the music. Good times!
