La Caverna - Nassau

While its wide distance from the inner city (both $40 taxi ride) the garden in la caverna was very beautiful. Unfortunately, eating was not on the stage. starting with the drinks: the sangria had no fruits, the old fashioned was so spicy I could hardly drink and the rum dum was completely wrong. we asked a Caesar salad with sardelles on the side, but of course it came to table. the tagliatelle alla bolognese was so oily that she repeated all night on my wife. I enjoy the fetuccine allo scoglio, but with the few bits protein it was hardly worth the price. on the way back in the inner city we stopped at a frozen yogurt place, which turned out to be the best part of the night.

I love Italian cuisine and this restaurant is my new favorite place. eating was very attractive! the waitress was very nice and sure we were satisfied.

Very good restaurant. authentic South Italian food. very friendly and attentive service.

A fast late meal, eating was well prepared and delicious.
