Papa Turney's Old Fashion Bbq

This isn't just the convenient food at the park/lake, it is incredibly good bbq, worth a journey on its own.

Food was amazing and a lot. Good smokey flavour. Place is on the water which is an added bonus. Owners were very sweet, inviting and helpful.

Amazing place, i really appreciate the owner come to make to let me know that i was safe as a women just taking a beer alone.

I had the most delicious tasting Turnip Greens in my life! They were better than my own Mothers Turnip Greens! My husband even had an unexpected visit from the owner who looked great at his age! I will say that they didn’t have their chess pie which saddened me. The atmosphere and the employees sweet and helpful attitude made up for not having any chess pie. I will definitely be going back!! We had a wonderful time!
