The Old School Farm To Table

I’ve eaten there 3 times prior and this time was a disappointment. The entertainment had left by 1 pm on Sunday. The kale salad was just fair. The added ham was a few shavings. The omelette was ok. It came with no bread and none was offered or suggested by the server.

Was really looking forward to my visit here, and I hate to say I was somewhat disappointed! The menu was very heavy on meats at least 3 different pork options and lacking in vegetables. Maybe it’s the winter season, I’m not sure. Even the grilled vegetable of the day was an apple ? . We loved the pork hash, though. The bakers basket was somewhat odd to include a sugar cookie for brunch, but everything in the basket was very good. We may try again for dinner in the spring and hope to have more of “farm” in our farm to table meal.

Food was just “ok” Service was great! Price was high for what we received and we’ve eaten out all over the world.

The Old School Farm is my four granddaughters’ favorite place to go for brunch. I enjoy being with them in such a lovely place with such a great menu. It’s a pleasant drive in the country and well worth the effort to get there.

A hidden gem! Easily accessible from Nashville and surrounding areas. Beautiful cozy venue for couples or groups. Delicious farm to table menu that changes seasonally, extensive bar with a good selection of wines as well as specialty cocktails. A treat for the senses.
