Contribuiți la feedbackAfter trying their coffee in the Gulch area, I was quite excited about this event as they had to offer in terms of coffee/bar/food. The location is perfect for the tourist crowd in downtown and also for the locals as the speed with which the city center and the surrounding eastern Nashville area grows. Going inside feels fresh, beautifully decorated and there is a good hip vibe. Everyone seemed inviting and enthusiastic for the event. We started with a short story about the business and how they landed right here at the location. Yes Parking is a pain, but then again this is in downtown and is as expected. When talking to Denny the GM at dinner, you could say how passionate he was about the place and how co-workers were all in the way things were presented and how customer service should be treated. Chef Megan has done a good job to give us a good overview of what is cooked in the kitchen they have and how much effort is in them. We had a small taste of everything we decide and support our reviews what this place could be. At the end a good work and will try again here for Sunday Brunch to try the rest of the menu and tasteful dishes. Our menu was among Peoples Cobbler, Tequila, Limette and some fresh berries. The color of the drink looked really berry-like and seemed like a hit with everyone, as the flavors were perfectly balanced. Celeriac Salad this was a perfect starter and beautifully balanced with all the flavors was nothing done and matched the Cobbler perfectly. Published in Brooklyn Rye-Drink, which just looked brilliant when beautifully presented. Beet Tartare Oh that was my favorite, as it had the drink with the 2 flavors mixed in Mussels, this was the biggest hit in the crowd due to the coconut curry sauce and the beautiful spicy kick it had. Trouble this was cooked to perfection and the sauce with it felt like potatoes, but was something completely explosive on the tongue and made the food of the trout more pleasant. Ice White choclate lavendar made in the house and you could say how fresh and balanced it was, not about sweet or done about, but simply perfect.
A concise menu and the collection of the best things. Ramos gin fizz, Laird's apple brand old fashion, maitai with orgeat, corpse reviver, pisco sour, and excellent espresso. No fluff, no accusations. Also the liqueur collection is all the tasty things you want, not stunned with mediocre stuff. The bartenders are friendly and helpful. It is a relaxed atmosphere suitable for a quiet good time away from the loud street.
Sit at the bar to interact with bartenders and chat. They let us try different types of alcohol, made a custom drink from the menu and ensured a kick-ass time. Also the pumpkin hummus is amaaaaaazing.
