Ru San's - Nashville

We weng at lunch. They had lunch buffet which had a variety. If you like good quality and fresh sushi do yourself a favor and avoid. If you have to eat there stick to the cooked food. I needed Tums after eating there.

I've had better sushi but I've also had way worse. The service was slow but I think the guy was new and he was really nice. Everyone else in my party loved their food though.

This was my second time dining here. I love their lunch, and enjoyed the first time I went for dinner. However I don't know where the disconnect came into play after ordering my food. I was brought my entree before my appetizers, and we had to ask where our appetizer was. My partner was brought out an eel appetizer when he ordered uni. My sushi had no flavor at all. Even with being fried....nothing. The bartender was a jerk and seem to not have the time to be bothered with us. Over all I'll choose Thai Papaya next time

Our waiter was awesome friendly and personable and attentive. Meal was delicious and I actually likes the smaller rolls better, less sauce and easier to eat in a bite. Total bill was about $25 pp with tons of food and a large sake which is super reasonable and the free valet was great!

Consistently good sushi. Great service. Ambience is lacking, though.
