I usually try a new place when I visit Nashville. Skip Sushi 88 come straight here. We didn't get service at Sushi 88. So glad they didn't. Bc we came here this place rocked. Food was delicious. Service was friendly cool. While you wait or looking at the menu, you have old school music videos playing, giving ya a lil nostalgia feeling. Wife I played, Guess who was the band song before it showed it on screen. I definitely recommend this lil rocking Sushi spotParking: If you stay at The Moxy. It's a 2 block walk.
Just came in again a couple nights ago. Frequent customers here, service is great, the food is excellent. Kinda wish they didn't play the extended versions of certain rock songs lol but overall a lovely sushi joint with fun ambiance. Do yourself a favor and get at least one Headliner! Also, Jeanette was wonderful. Kind, quick and considerate. Give her a raise yall!
Such a cool experience, you don’t expect sushi and rock an roll to go together but it definitely works, especially in music city. Our server Jennette was absolutely fabulous, especially being the only server on and having to deal with a nasty group of bachelorettes. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a funky night out.
Not bad, but not the best sushi we’ve ever had. Parking in that area was a mess. They say there is a garage in the back but I guess we just didn’t see it. Took my daughter there for her 13th birthday dinner on a Wednesday night. She asked for an Arnold Palmer and they said they were out of sweet tea. I thought that was odd. The music was a little loud and the videos were just weird and distracting. Not the fault of the ownership, but it didn’t really improve the experience. I thought the sushi was just acceptable. The sushi was rolled and presented well, its just the ingredients seemed average. Honestly it seemed like they just over charged for average sushi by serving it in a cool themed environment. They even charged for a little dish of eel sauce. I did read the reviews and I appreciate that the owners seem to respond to each review. I think that’s classy. Says that they care what people have to say.
