Redheaded Stranger - Nashville

I know Nashville has an incredible variety of excellent burger joints, but today I had what I believe to be the best Smashburger I've ever tasted. Redheaded Stranger serves a green chili cheeseburger with loaded tater tots that is simply outstanding. In my opinion, it’s the best burger in Nashville. While they are known for their tacos and burritos, this burger really deserves a lot of attention. It's perfect in so many ways, and the combination of flavors offers a truly unique burger experience. Delicious, hearty, and wow! The first picture shows the double burger with loaded tater tots, while the second photo features the single patty with plain tater tots.

We enjoyed a fantastic lunch at this Southwestern restaurant in East Nashville. The charmingly decorated cafe, filled with playful humor, truly impressed us with its delicious food and friendly staff! From fresh tortillas to a cheeseburger topped with Hatch Green Chile and delightful Mexican Mocha, everything was superb. We loved every moment!

I think they are still doing a kind of covid/order counter thing. We were standing in line outside before we could come in and order before we sat down. I think it would be a more fun hangout to sit at the bar and have drinks and tacos. But it was not a long wait. We were just passing through for lunch and both of us locked in on the green chili cheeseburger. We decided to split it with some tots. It was delicious. Based on the burger, I'm assuming everything else is equally delicious. I wouldn't mind stopping back in for the full experience if we are back in the the area.

The restaurant is pet-friendly, and I enjoyed dining inside with my puppy. The food took a bit longer to arrive since it was quite crowded during lunch, but the wait was worth it! The tortillas are freshly made, which was a delightful touch. While the queso could use some improvement, overall, the food was excellent. They were also hosting a special event where they were roasting and selling Hatch green chilies from New Mexico—very cool!

CHEF BRETT MADE THE BEST D*MN BURGER IVE HAD IN MY LIFE!!! This was my second time visiting Nashville and I had to stop in The Red Headed Stranger for my foodie fix. I showed their Instagram page and asked for the menu item recently posted. Turns out it was a Sloppy double bacon smash burger and every bite was tastier than the last. The pairing of burger topping truly complimented each other and could taste the quality of products. Everything is made to order, prepared in house and worth it. The green salsa was delicious. Clean dining area, plenty of menu options, and patio setup decor was so cute. Attentive staff and constantly maintaining restaurant. Until next year but I?ll be back!
