Qdoba Mexican Eats - Nashville

The atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff stands out for their friendliness and willingness to engage in conversation rather than just going through the motions. This is a stark contrast to experiences at other locations, like Chipotle, where the staff often seem less attentive and more focused on just serving customers. I usually order a bowl with white rice, steak, cheese, sour cream, black beans, pico de gallo, guacamole, and queso. While I can order something similar elsewhere, the addition of queso really enhances the meal. The chips at Qdoba are fantastic—crunchy and fresh, just as they should be. I’ve found that at other places, the chips can often be soggy, and Chipotle has shrunk their portion sizes over the years. At Qdoba, I've consistently enjoyed large, flavorful chips every time. For those with dietary restrictions, like my wife who has gluten intolerance, they also have excellent options. She tried the Impossible plant-based protein and loved it, and I was pleasantly surprised by its taste as well. However, I'm still a meat lover at heart! We plan to keep returning to Qdoba. Sorry, Chipotle, but we're team Qdoba all the way! On January 8, 2020, I ordered a double bowl with a steak and brisket combo, which was fantastic and very filling—perfect for big eaters. I highly recommend it! We will definitely be back!

The service was quite slow. I ordered through the app, which estimated that my order would be ready by 6:38, but it ended up being available around 6:45 or 6:50. The burrito was cold, but I appreciated that all the toppings (queso, guacamole, etc.) came at no extra charge, which offered good value. However, I found the burrito difficult to bite into, and I could hardly taste the fillings I chose. The size of the burrito was decent, although it was somewhat smaller than those from Chipotle. The chips and guacamole were enjoyable and probably the highlight of the meal; the chips were crunchy and the guacamole tasted fresh. Overall, I would consider returning, hoping my next experience will be better than this one.

When I got home to eat, though, I was disappointed with the portion size. I usually eat standard portions, and after graduation I was still feeling quite hungry, even after having some pizza. I think if I had used the BOGO offer and wasn’t in a hurry, my experience would have been more satisfactory.

Underwhelmed by my visit here. the restaurant is completely new; all clean and shiny. the food was solid; tasty, correspondingly spicy, hot and fresh. which was not fresh, was the attitude of the lady who made the burritos. it was as if we had interrupted them from the sight of the mostly empty seat (there were another few at the whole place.) not a smile, no iota of greeting in their wise. I would give them another chance, but my wife won't.

The server was great! The restaurant wasn't busy at all with only 4 customers. There was rice and lettuce on the floor and tables needing cleaning attention. There was a fly making his rounds on the food. My partner continued with his order while i could not. He mentioned the chicken being dry.
