Peninsula - Nashville

We visited Half Island for a date night and the dining experience was truly spectacular! It featured the best table service we've ever had. The owner personally welcomed us and guided us through a culinary tour of their unique menu, featuring Iberian-inspired dishes with a Tennessee twist. We especially loved the Spanish tortilla, which was complemented by a delicious salty smoked brûlée. We will definitely be back for another visit!

I went out for a date night with my partner, and we were truly impressed. The food was exceptional, and we found ourselves talking about it the next day—it was just that good! The drinks were fantastic as well; we enjoyed trying out each other's choices. We began with different gin and tonics, and it was exciting to discover they make their own tonic in-house!

The entire experience was outstanding. The bartender even crafted two off-menu worm cocktails to complement the tapas we ordered. It was a unique touch, and his creations were spot-on! The food, drinks, and overall service will certainly bring us back!

Really awesome, elevated Spanish cuisine. exceptional, stratified cooking each dish a unique experience. excellent service. a great wine selection that presents spanish world-class wine regions with a hauch of Portuguese. classic bar options with a focus on gin cocktails at the time of this writing. the half island performs an exquisite culinary experience with little to no preference and is a very popular place to have a cool, elegant dinner in nashville.

Truly unique experience! Tried this out last night after recently moving here and the food was exceptional. Definitely more of a special night type of restaurant as it is very pricey (100/120 per person) but very good. Only wish was there were a few more items on the menu as while everything was great and very special, each plate is of course very tiny but with a limited menu you end up having to repeat dishes. Other than that excellent service, good cocktails, unique dishes, great environment. 5/5.
