Papa Johns Pizza - Nashville

I ordered the ultimate pepperoni pizza with extra cheese. What I received was a cheese pizza topped with pepperoni. I didn’t specify no pepperoni; I just wanted extra cheese.

Hey! I just picked up an extra-large pizza from Papa John's with extra cheese and pepperoni. Honestly, it was so cheesy that it stretched with every bite! (Totally sarcastic, by the way.) I don’t know what's been going on with Papa John's lately, but the last few pizzas I've had from them have felt like cardboard without a box. It seems like John sold his brand to a gas station or something because their pizza isn't good anymore. Maybe this particular location just has lazy staff who don't care about making fresh, quality pizza. The management might not be ordering enough cheese for proper inventory, either. And by the way, the Papa John's on Charlotte Pike in Nashville, TN had some cleanliness issues this time. On a brighter note, the girl at the drive-thru was pretty, sweet, and professional!

Papa John's coming in to save the day! Went to hugh-babys but they were packed, then went to 615 pizza but they were too expensive, then went to cookout before ultimately deciding on papa John's and that was one great decision! We got 3 large specialty pizzas for around $14 piece and a regular side of their cheesy bread sticks (10in) for $7.59. Everything came out fresh and hot, for 9:30 at night, we couldn't ask for much more than a nice pizza induced food coma! Ooooh their garlic sauce is really good too, creamy and more of a garlic butter than a sauce. Service was second to none as we called them to ask if it was too late for us to come in and they greeted us with a smile and patience when we came in! They also let us eat in their parking lot free of charge!! There is no indoor seating indoors Their chicken bbq pizza absolutely slapped. All in all, despite only 1.5 stars, this papa John's location was absolutely wonderful for us, great fresh and hot food with even better service!

I went to pick up my to-go order, and I noticed that no one else had to wait while the guy in front of me held his stack of pizza boxes. Once he stepped aside, I was able to grab my pizza, but when I opened the box, I realized my order was wrong. I didn’t make a fuss, and I appreciate that they made me a new pizza, but no apology or compensation for the mistake was offered. They just handed me the new pizza and basically said I could go. I won’t be coming back; there are too many other great options nearby.

I'm really disappointed in the lack of Italian sausage on my pizza or it could've been distributed all over the pizza evenly, presentation is everything.
