Ninki: Japanese Bistro - Nashville

I love the sushi here, and the staff is incredibly friendly. They offer the best hibachi entertainment in the area, along with an extensive selection of alcohol and sake. Their house-made yum yum sauce and salad dressing are absolutely delicious!

The hibachi was delicious, and there were plenty of sushi options to choose from. Everything tasted amazing, and the service was excellent as well. Definitely worth the visit!

I ordered my usual soup from my neighborhood restaurant for lunch as a Togo order. Got there and my order was not ready. It was after lunch rush hour. 15 minutes later my order is ready. Why did I bother to call in ahead. Take it home and poured thesoup into a bowl and tasted the broth. No flavor or seasoning. No mixed vegetables and certainly no mixed seafood. One loneshrimp. I called and asked for my money back. They told me I had to bring it back so I take it back. The host goes to theback to discuss the issues with the chef and manager. Tone deaf! I was hungry when I went to pick up my lunch. An hour later,I am hangry. I asked someone to get the host back. They need to resolve their internal problems not at my expense. I havealready wasted an hour of my time I asked for a receipt and they said they don?t print credit receipts. I lost it. Then sheproduces a credit receipt. They should have told me that my soup was sold out. To have given me the tofu water as soup is justembarrassing and arrogant. Do they really think we are that stupid and won?t notice everything in the soup is missing? Itdemonstrates the state of that business. I will never go there again. When you start cutting key ingredients in the dishes youadvertise, what happens to food safety?

Great place to eat with family or friends. Make appointments in advance to eat hibachi. Food is good. Just in case you don't know, they charge you for their service but is not bad.

Absolutely terrible food! I've visited many Hibachi restaurants, and this one is by far the worst experience I've had. If you're someone who enjoys flavor, this is definitely not the place for you. The chicken tasted completely bland, and the shrimp was chewy and rubbery. There was barely any seasoning at all—you couldn't taste it! The rice tasted like it had just been scooped directly from the pot and slapped onto my plate. Even after pouring four cups of yum yum sauce on it, I still struggled to eat it. It's no surprise they automatically add an 18% service charge to every bill; I imagine they don't get good tips because the food is so awful. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place if you enjoy flavorful Hibachi!
