Sometimes, small hometown restaurants can surprise you with great food, but that wasn't the case here. The coffee was weak, the biscuit was cold and lacking in flavor, and the sausage and bacon in the omelette were unappetizing. Others in my group ordered the biscuits and gravy and mentioned that it tasted like it came from a mix.

The staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was decent, which is to be expected from a diner. However, I had an unfortunate experience that made me feel like a child again—just like when I was five, I found myself having to spit out food into my napkin because it was so unappetizing. The soup lacked flavor, and the vegetables at the salad bar were quite questionable. I even hesitated to use a plate, as they looked like they hadn't been cleaned since the 1970s. The only highlight was the chocolate cherry mousse available at the salad bar, which was worth mentioning.

This is right off the interstate so it has good traffic. Food was ok, but beware. I used a charge card and when the account statement came the tip was changed from $4 to $10 on a $22 bill. I called the General Manager and left a message, asking them to call me and explained my problem. I never got a call and won't be going back.

Pretty nice little cafe! I had an open faced Turkey sandwich and my son has chicken fries. Friendly staff. Will go back
