El Sombrero Lenox Village - Nashville

I made two attempts in one night to find a good order of Carnitas from different restaurants. Someone recommended El Sombrero, so I decided to give it a try. The food and service were both excellent, but it was the small, dimly-lit cantina-style bar area that truly won me over and made the experience unforgettable.

The older server with the glasses must hate his job, he's always rude. He will literally run away as you speak to him. And if you ask for something other than your food, he won't bring it with you, like Condiments etc. He's just nice when he leaves your check. I have the impression that managers could take care of less or they wouldn't allow it. He's not the only one that looks weird to the customer. Be warned.

This is our favorite Mexican restaurant. It's consistently delicious and very welcoming. It has become our go-to comfort food spot for the family! The staff, particularly those who have been there for years, are warm, friendly, and quick. Definitely try the Chile Verde, Pollo Mexicano, or Chiles Poblanos. The homemade guacamole is a great addition, but the chips and salsa are always perfectly seasoned and usually enough on their own. The margaritas, whether by the pitcher or glass, are some of the best you'll find in Nashville—truly unbeatable. Kids' meals are especially affordable on Wednesdays, and margaritas are also discounted on many nights. Be sure to keep an eye out for special offers!

Wow. Absolutely amazing food here. Great service. Very recommended.

Took family here to eat. We had tamales, tortilla soup, tres tacos and shrimp salad. All were great and fresh and at a very great price especially during this inflation. My wife margaritas were great as well.
