El Paseo Cantina - Nashville

The best Mexican restaurant in Nashville, by far! Do yourself a favor and check this place out! The margaritas are fresh and taste great! Every dish we've tried has been top-notch. The chef is amazing!

Arrived on time and seated immediately. Service was on it and we had our drink and an appetizer of queso chorizo quickly. Food pace was great and our meal was very good my wife had chicken fajitas which she loved as she had plenty of peppers and onions that make her happy. I had the steak burrito which was stuffed full of rice and bean and beef. Too big to finish actually. All in all, a great, quaint and casual place for a nice Mexican meal. We will be back.

This is a hidden gem in the Nations! I saw mixed reviews before I came and I noticed it wasn 't full/not a lot of people know about this place, but I was really impressed. If you 're looking for authentic Mexican food made from scratch, this is the place!! I genuinely appreciate the from scratch flavor and it is different than other Mexican restaurants you might be used to. The enchilada verde was so flavorful, the chicken tinga inside was amazing and juicy, wow. I loved every part of this dish. It came with rice and beans and avocado on top. On Saturdays, they do $20 full pitchers of house margaritas!! Such a steal! We were only going to do one drink per person, but it was almost the same price to do a full pitcher and we don 't regret that decision! Joseph was our server and he was phenomenal, really good service here.Small lot for parking but there 's more parking spaces across the street.

Fun decor. We had the mahi mahi tacos and a Camarón Burrito along with loaded nachos. The poblano rice was very mild. We will return. Thank you.Vegetarian options: Added bell peppers to my burrito. They have a vegetarian burrito.
