This is a charming little spot that's somewhat of a hidden gem. The food is excellent, and the service is warm and welcoming. They serve the best BBQ fried chicken you'll find anywhere!

Got the daily special at take-out.Was great and got enough for another meal. Will be visiting again.

Let me start by saying that the food wasn’t GROSS, Maybe my expectations are just too high… Everything was extremely bland, The fried chicken was great texture wise but just didn’t taste seasoned at all.. Neither did the black eyed peas or cabbage (which was extremely mushy), The Brunswick stew tasted more like ketchup stew… The banana pudding was artificially flavored, The sauce just tasted like straight vinegar and red pepper.. Now I’ll get to the good parts, The BBQ was great! The hush puppy rings were good, along with the pork skins. I would return just for the bbq!

We love this place.. and it is a tradition to stop by every year when we got to the beach.Food is great. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the dining room is a tad dirty but I love hole in the walls and I will definitely be back.
