Everything was delicious. The gumbo had a really nice smokey taste. The shrimp was my favorite. Great taste. Delicious okra cucumber salad also.
Food and atmosphere is great! I have broken a heart to hear that Bro's will close soon; after 45 Yrs of the service, the owner told me that it is time to retire and fish. I'm glad I could try big Cajun cuisine. Bro's will be missed
Nashville classic, must visit. Low budget decoration, it's all old school. But damn it. I mean, the food is from the charts. Take an appetite and get some of it!
Excellent authentic Cajun cuisine. Beautiful place, for years after Bro's. The building is a bit shut down, but the service and the food are great. Try not to be disappointed.
Finally a place that knows what Louisiana food is all about. Yes it is far from where we live, about 50 miles from us, but when my husband has a doctors appointment we can stop in and eat. They are 10 minutes from the doctors office. I had the House Sampler, Chicken Gumbo, Red Beans, Shrimp Creole, Crawfish Etouffee, Jambalaya and a link of Boudin. My husband had Chicken Fried Steak with potatoes cornbread. The food was fantastic. The owner/chef is Darrell Breaux from Lafayette Louisiana and moved to Tennessee 30 years ago. I can’t wait to try the boiled crawfish. I really recommend this place to anyone who wants real Louisiana Cajun food. Again all the food we tried was amazing.
