The restaurant itself is on the 34th floor of the JW Marriott hotel and is completely surrounded by glass and overlooks downtown Nashville. The view is spectacular. We were seated near the glass and were promptly greeted by our server Jeff. Jeff was the man. Super friendly and was spot on with his recommendations and his service. Usually when you go to a restaurant, they start you off with a basket of bread. Instead here they start you with three different flavors of super crispy French fries all with their own unique dipping sauce. They were amazing and I thought it was a nice twist on the norm. After that we started with ahi tuna rolls and a wedge salad as apps. Both phenomenal. As entrees, my fiancé had the 8oz filet and I had the 16 oz ribeye. Both were cooked perfectly medium and we shared the creamy mashed potatoes and broccoli rabe as sides. We did not try dessert as we were way too stuffed but I’m sure that is also amazing. We were here to celebrate my 40th birthday so it made it even better that dinner was perfect. All in all, I’d say this is a must have dinner if you’re in Nashville. Just be prepared to spend $300-500 depending on how many people and drinks you have. But it’s worth every penny!
This place is unrealistic. The food is good at the next level and is only adapted to the view by the caliber of service quality. I'm a big believer in the idea that people make the place. And at Bourbon Steak people are absolute professionals. Their passion for creating unforgettable experiences is reflected in their attention to detail, genuine care and enthusiasm for the food served. We have hypertified this place to the guests we brought and both said that the experience exceeded any expectation. One of them said confident that it was the best restaurant experience they ever had. Thanks to the incredible team for such an unforgettable night.
Everything here is done with great excellence. Drinks and food and service are all you ever get. If you are not used to it, food expects extremely high prices. $100 a person here will be about minimal if the dinner order a page and a drink. Would also be easy to spend a $1000 or more person if you want to live it. The cook has some incredible specialties and they are worth trying! Unbelievable view of Nashville too!
Amazing service. So many extra touches and thoughts on the way. All I had here was really well done creative and take their own. Love their sides delicious! Mack cheese black truffles and the Crispy Brussel sprouts Honey Lime so good! This place has the special ambiance factor as well as a great view if you are able to sit closer to the windows.
Tent to Bourbon Steak for the first time and was completely blown away. A beautiful place with very thorough and friendly service. I added in our reservation that it was for a birthday and we had so many nice memories during our dinner. The Bourbon pour was informal and cool to watch. The best rosé of my life was recommended here and I feel better than a person to have discovered it. We parked Valet and were easily validated. From Hotel Concierge staff to the restaurant hosting staff all made us welcome and appreciated. Every course was fantastic. Amazing attention to detail and very respectful peanut allergy at the table. If you are looking for a luxurious date night out or a high-class food, this place is a jewel in Nashville.
