There are counter spots that have the old school stools everything. The rest of the seating are booths. The booths are kinda small. You can fit 2 people with plenty of room 4 people... kinda tight. The staff was super friendly and very attentive. They kept serving people when they were walking in 15 minutes afterclosing. They did end up turning people away when they turned off the grill. This place reminded me of the diner I would go with my Grandma. The food was really tasty. The portions were generous and the milkshake was so good! I had thestrawberry milkshake it's the best one I've had in a long time. Honestly better than Hayward's milkshakes their thing is icecream. I recommend getting a milkshake. It's a huge milkshake. We shared one. Overall I recommend this place ifyou're thinking of an old school diner with good food. I give it 5 stars because it deserves a 5 for a diner. It's not pretending to be anything other than what it is they do it well. We'll definitely be back again.
Joanne's Kitchen Is a tiny hole in the wall breakfast and lunch diner in downtown Nashua. My partner and I recently went for breakfast, and here was our experience. Items ordered: ham and swiss cheese omelette, home fries with peppers and onions, sourdough toast, sausage links, Irish Benny, bacon Pros: ?The eggs were cooked perfectly ?The home fries were crispy and flavorful, especially with the peppers and onions ?The Hollandaise sauce was surprisingly good, very creamyand lemony ?The English muffin and sourdough toast were perfectly done as well ?The service was quick and our waiter was atentative and friendly ?The prices were good for the quality of food we got Cons: ?The atmosphere isn't great, theplace looks kind of grungy and can definitely use updated furniture as well as a paint job and redesign to the outside. Conclusion: For the price and quality of food, Joanne's is actually pretty darn good for the area. If atmosphere is abig thing for you, then you might want to look elsewhere because it can be a bit of a turn off.
This is the classic hole in the wall place you love to find. Very cool layout long and skinny, with several booths and a generous counter with classic spinning stools. Everything looks and feels classic small here, from the doors to the tables. We were able to fit a family of 4 in a booth, and although snug, it still worked just fine. Bathroom doors reminded me of the size of an airplane bathroom door. Food was excellent, served quickly by a friendly staff. Nothingexotic, just good home cooking style. We did breakfast, although the lunch menu looked good, too. Great retro feel, good food, reasonable prices, friendly and attentive staff.
I love Diners, and this fit the bill. Sat comfortably at the counter and had a cold drink only.
Missing items in my friends meal, he found hair in his fries, and the omelet wasn 't cooked properly. Our server said he can 't remake it because my friend ate half of it. He took two bites... Usually never have a problem here but today I guess was not it. A female waitstaff offered to comp his meal and then offered to remake it. We sat and waited and then were told he wasn 't offered the remade. Very disorganized today. Usually we both love it here.
