Server left a bit to be desired so possible his sat under the warmer longer than mine, no way to know but mine was good enough that I will definitely be back!
We always get a delicious meal and amazing service from Kim. The steak is tender and flavorful, the salad is fresh and the appetizers are always good too. Kim is our favorite waitress. She is knowledgeable, efficient and attentive….and super nice too!
Dakota is so amazing and kind. He is very attentive and makes sure it’s perfect every time! Thank you! And thank you, Cole!
What ruined the entire experience was the server adding a $25 tip to our order after the fact and not telling us, THEN when we got our card back had the nerve to leave the tip line open for more of our money. It’s insulting to think that we would not have done the math and figured out her scheme. I brought my parents for a late Father’s Day dinner. Very good food but I am not happy about the fact that the server basically tipped herself and didn’t tell us. She never came back to the table for us to question her and we’re all full from dinner so we left. Criminal if you ask me.
It has been a few years since we ate at Salt grass and decided to do so for my husband 's birthday. When making a reservation there is an area to indicate if there is a special occasion and I indicated it was my husband 's birthday. This was never acknowledged or mentioned while we were there. Upon sitting down our waitress was at us wanting to know what we wanted. I said, we just sat down and she said,Yes, I saw you. After this interaction it seemed to take time for her to return to us. Finally, we ordered. While waiting it became apparent that Salt grass is trying to do and be too much. It was quite loud from the patrons present. Add to that a TV and various types of music playing. It was kind of like, we are trying to be everything to everybody. Well, that doesn 't work for us. We want to enjoy a meal in peace. No need for 'modern ' country music. Stay true to your roots and what you stand for. The food is ok. My baked potato was firm, not fully baked. One of our items was forgotten and we needed to wait. I will say the carrot cake was the best I have ever had. For $100+ I think we will dine elsewhere. I can think of multiple venues in this price range that will be more pleasurable.
