Contribuiți la feedbackThe customer service was excellent, and the staff was very friendly, but the food fell short of expectations. I ordered the Thai Dye wrap, and while the ingredients were fresh—which was a definite plus—there was a noticeable inconsistency in how they were layered inside the wrap. When I did get a bite that combined the flavors, it was quite delicious. However, too often I found myself only tasting cilantro, or just the spicy tomato paste (which I believe came from the spicy tofu since it wasn't listed in the ingredients), or just the vegetables. This inconsistency made for a disjointed dining experience, especially considering that it took about 20 minutes for my food to arrive. On a positive note, they were very quick to clear tables (it was quite busy when I visited at noon on Saturday), but this resulted in my greens being cleared away before I had a chance to finish them while I was up refilling my water.
The renovation of the space that Flower Child occupies is impressive. It's spacious and full of light. However, the real highlight is the food. It's absolutely delicious! The avocado hummus and forbidden rice were incredible. I will definitely return. With the constant line of people waiting to order, I can tell this restaurant will thrive!
At this point, I felt I had to reorder since I had already drenched my salad in the dressing. The woman in charge at the counter was really helpful and offered to have a new salad made. I have to give her credit; she was professional and seemed to be the only one aware of what was happening. But I couldn’t understand why she was able to get my order right when I first placed it, without cheese. Overall, the food was good once my order was finally correct. I hadn’t planned on leaving a review until much later in the evening. After we finished our meal, my friend and I just wanted to wash our hands before leaving. While she was in the bathroom, I heard one of the kitchen staff yell, "PLEASE LEAVE!" at me so loudly that the rest of the team found it amusing, clearly directing their laughter at us. I have never encountered such poor service before. I sincerely hope that someone from management addresses this and puts more effort into training the staff so they can better understand what customer service really means.
