Mayview Chinese Restaurant - NARRAWEENA

This restaurant does not care about the food it serves, the restaurant or its customers. The young girls on reception and who serve the food are great, but the lady who owns the place is rude and uncaring. She bangs plates of food down on the table and grunts when you walk in the restaurant - there is no hello or politeness from her. The food is average chinese, not very good at all and they serve loads of onions with many dishes. The sauces are all from bottles and one could make a better meal at home. Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere, there are plenty of good chinese around but not this one. The owner needs to realise that customers pay her wages! They have also put their prices up but they do not warrant doing so.

Mayview Chinese at May Road, Narraweena - been going there monthly for over a year. Tonight was the last straw. Angie the owner is consistently rude to us and every time we go there and each night bangs plates of food on the table. Enough - I will not return again.

Delicious food for a cheap price. Been going here for many years. Great quality and authenticity flavour. Don't expect to get good service though when you dine in as they are usually to busy.

We have been eating from this restaurant for over 30 years so I find it fitting that I should finally offer up a review. We mainly use them for take away but the food has always been delicious, fresh and competitively priced. I think that the quality of their menu is proof alone as they have been in business for over 30 years. Well done Mayview......

I grew up down the street from Mayview and now live in New York and haven't been back to Australia in two years but I am going back in December.
