Next time I'll ask for a little less spices, but that's me. Frequently wait staff to refill our water glasses and often stopped to make sure everything was good. I will return.
Best Indian in Rhode Island. Great prices, quick service, huge portions. Peshawari naan is killer. Possibly the best Chicken Shahi Korma (w/cashews) outside NYC I 've had. Could eat Lamb Keema Samosas all night. If you aren 't into spicy food, you 'll be fine ordering mild . But beware: medium is a big jump up in heat. Highly recommended.
Although it isn 't what I 'd call the most elegant of places, the food is really good. The cilantro-garlic Naan was fabulous, and we had a range of vegetarian dishes (one of our party was vegetarian), ordered 'hot/spicy ', that were delicious. In researching the place I saw a number of people saying that it 's also good for take-out. We went for a Saturday lunch, and it was perfect. Attentive, helpful service and they upped the number of items in several dishes to account for the fact that there were three of us. Lots of carnivorous options too BTW.
Located in the Aqua Blue Hotel (formerly the Village Inn) across the street from Narragansett Beach. Hotel guests get a 20% discount. Menu is basically the standard North Indian classics, but well-prepared. Nice to see an authentic Indian restaurant in a tourist destination that isn't exactly known for its diversity, culinary or otherwise. We'll definitely be back if we're ever in the area again.
Best Indian Food...Best Service...Fantastic Dining Experience!
