Barraba - NARRABRI

Don't let me see you outside. This is an old motel, but I found it very comfortable and very clean, the owners are very helpful and friendly. The parking lot is good and it is very quiet. The bed was good, but would say bring your own pillow. Good hot shower with hot water. The room was equipped with microwave, fridge and toaster, dishes and knives, forks and spoons. Rooms are air-conditioned and have a fan with light. Price was excellent for the accommodation provided. Bodywear provided, but no tissues that would be good if they were intended. I travel a lot and stay in a lot of motels so I always look for a good offer as well as comfort and this motel meets the bill. The motel is just a few minutes' walk from the main street and close to the Showground/Racecourse and service station. When you arrive after 7PM in Barraba, make sure that you have brought food because everything is good and really closed at 8:00.

We were here a few times, but this time it was with new homeowners who could not have been more friendly! The new owner went out of her way to find out that my child was a girl and put her bed with a sweet little girl bedcloth, it was such a sweet note! The new owners have plans to do a few tweaks to the motel, and I can't wait to see it when we make a return trip. The motel room was clean and quiet and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I highly recommend that you give the new owners a leap, they try to rebuild what was once a good reputation that was badly corrupted by the previous completely uninterested owners!

Thank you to Peter and Wendy for their warm hospitality. We appreciated the last changes for our family. Especially walking over and above to help us not included in extras. Recommend every stay here, all families looking for them have family rooms! Great city to cool and disappear from the hustle and bustle of the city

The rooms are large for the money, no taxi so owner drove us to tea, it cannot fail, good parking with half and trailers Very friendly service.

We had an over night stay here, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable and staff friendly. Easy 10 min walk to the bowlo.
