Located right on the beach, my favorite part was the staircase leading from the beach to my room, giving it a unique touch that matches its name. The staff was exceptional, with Campbell ensuring a smooth check-in and Rebecca providing a friendly farewell and accommodating a late checkout. Their hospitality truly made my stay a satisfying and relaxing experience, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring.
The staff at the restaurant were friendly and helpful, the dining area was clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable. We encountered an issue with a blocked sink, but since it was Easter and the maintenance team had left for the day, a member of the public was able to assist us. They had a positive attitude, were very friendly, and apologized for the inconvenience. We will definitely return to this hotel and highly recommend it.
We had a very lengthy lunch on Sunday at this restaurant. The hotel seemed to be only half full, so it was not very busy. The staff informed us that they only had one person working in the kitchen. It was disappointing that they did not inform us beforehand that our order would take a long time, and then expected us to wait for an hour. The service was in poor shape. Although the food was tasty once it arrived, it was not enough to warrant a rating higher than 2 out of 5.
I can give this place no less than 3 stars, it would be hypocritical to see how I come here once a week. But that's just because I live across the street and it's on the way to and from the beach. The setup and layout are so bland. There are huge teles everywhere, the only other things on the walls are advertisements for the food that also quite bland. No cozy sections, only a large modular type of space that changes all the time. The smokers get the best location on the balcony. Yeah, although this place is right on the beach, you wouldn't know. The plants are also all plastic. This really prevents me in this day and age of trendy plants everywhere. ADDITIONAL WARNING: If you order a house wine, note that you are likely to pay MORE for your wine. Check the wine list very carefully! Even the staff is embarrassing about it. I'm sure it's kind of unconstitutional. My children like to come here because the lemonade is cold.
Spent a week with family. Hotel has a great location but the rooms are in desperate need of a facelift. The mattresses were abysmal. The carpet, the walls had marks and stains on them. It’s a shame that a great location gets ruined by a shabby hotel.
