I looked at my watch and told her, but she explained. she meant the time of my next move. I told her I had hours to save, but she was not satisfied until I told her the exact time of my move. then the cook came in; she was not satisfied that the time I gave was correct. the grill didn't end until I came out my train ticket as proof! I was confused, especially with the language barrier, but they explained that they only wanted to make sure that I had enough time to enjoy my meal. I tried to explain that I was a little freaked out by everyone. normally, if I order food, can I ask how chips or masic with it? , don't listen to my travel planning. the actual food is worth it. I had the goat cheese salad and it was delicious. le loft is probably the most beautiful setting they find in the trunk key removal from the railway station. there is an outside area if you want to enjoy the southern French sunshine and inside seat if you need a little shade. (my choice of an inside seat prompted more troubled asking as if it were "not already obvious that they had no faith in my decision-making ability. I think the people who work here probably had to deal with many customers who order food with too little time to save. Perhaps they will come to talk with the fact that this is beyond their control. but while we wait for them to intern the Serenity prayer, everyone who is really in the hurry should order the snack menu.
We went to lunch there. it is right next to the train station, so if they don't have much time in narbonne, it can be a good place to sort her lunch. it has exterior.
Would finally come back to eat so handy right near the train station, did not arrive at all, sat outside, the personal language English and the plough was clean.
WHAT a wonderful meal we had here one evening during a recent stay over in Narbonne! My husband is still raving about the steak he had which was done to perfection .....and coming from him: a fussy meat eater, this is really something! I had perfectly...grilled lamb chops....and these dishes were both served with THE very best ratatouille I have ever tasted....and individual ramikins of potatoes dauphinoise baked with a delectable crust of parmesan and other cheeses combined with breadcrumbs. Scrumptious! I agree with a fellow reviewer, the jug of house red was really good....we had a second! This very handily positioned gem of a find, has a sign outside advertising Bar, Brasserie, Restaurant . It is run by a beautiful and delightfully friendly French lady who toggles between the role of Chef de Cuisine Maitre d ' with an enviable energetic ease she and her son, who assists her with bar and table service, were fabulous hosts. We loved our evening spent here and recommend it whole heartedly.
Le Loft is directly opposite the station in Narbonne and a very pleasant restaurant for either lunch or dinner. The service here is excellent and the menu choice varied and good quality. The salad entree which is help yourself was one of the freshest we...have tasted. Our lunch menu was around €14 and the house wine was of good quality. It is possible to eat outside but this may be a little noisy. An ideal situation for travellers and definately one to which we would be happy to re-visit.
