Le Garganico - Narbonne

We fell by chance on this family restaurant, looking for a place to eat late enough in the evening. It didn't disappoint. They were more than happy to welcome us, a group of 6. excellent service, good food and large portions - especially for children! highly recommended, thank you for this good dinner.

We consulted tripadvisor, and we trusted the opinions, but to read more closely, we understand the alas that has become common. friends (and even restaurateurs) who are self-evaluating and climbing up in the rankings.So I tell you, I have a doubt about the quality of the comments, especially for those who have only one or two reviews on this site!To return to the restaurant, the frame is very nice, the effective service, but when your plate arrives. We're frankly disappointed. Certainly we are on fresh products, but at 20€ the 4 gambas, with a risotto (announced creamy, but which is not.) and another plate of 5 st jacques for 22€, we find the exaggerated prices, and all is overrated. In the course of lunch, we note the disappearance of the waitress. Of course it's quiet, but you don't need anything!We made the choice to stop at the dish. We will not return, unlike the enlightened opinions that swear only by this table ... if you understand what I mean!

Very quiet, well still good luck. The kitchen is very good, the service has nothing to say the top!! I strongly advise people to go there because restaurants like this are rare today.

My friend and I spent a few days on narbonne in early July; we tested several restaurants during our holidays but our heartfelt and without a doubt garganico. this restaurant located behind the station has a quiet and shaded terrace. ideal for a dinner in mind, with friends or family! we were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the dishes, tasty and hearty at once. We had a perfect time. the very welcoming staff ensures that we do not miss anything! We regret having discovered this little restaurant only the day before we left because we would have gone to eat more often. We highly recommend it and look forward to returning to narbonne, so that you can taste the other dishes offered in this charming restaurant.

First time here and loved it! Their brick oven style pizza reminded me of the pizza I had in Italy. I had to compare this place to Umbertos on Jericho
