Wa Yamamura - Nara

I visited this restaurant a few years ago, The restaurant offered excellent price. Although my wife and I do not speak Japanese, the waitress and all the other employees did their best to serve us. I was impressed. 5 stars

The best value ever! For an institution that Michelin earned three stars before, they really did not upload. For two people for lunch they charge less than $300. We have a reservation a month before the time thru Hotel Concierge and the counter was already fully booked. but sitting at the table has not affected our experience. Waitresses may not be fluent with English, but they all tried really hard. You cannot miss this place if you are in Osaka, Kyoto or Nara. Really a jewel

Wa Yamamura is a first-class Kaiseki restaurant. The food was delicious and creative, the cook uses fresh and seasonal ingredients on site. The course menu concentrates on fish, not meat. Beautiful atmosphere and friendly service . Very recommended by you are in Nara .

What a wonderful day and lunch I have! I tried my luck to have lunch here without prior reservation (not able to reserve a seat during the April trip), and yes, my wish is granted. I choose an eight course lunch dessert for JPY8,0000 5% service 8%tax! Eating here is super tasty, the presentation is like works of art that let you hesitate a little before you eat! A real Japanese cuisine experience and enjoyment. Updated 6 Dec 16 Again for dinner. Very good and delicious! Again on 28 June 17 visited, still very good.

As a Michelin 3-star kaiseki restaurant 懐石料理店 , there is almost no need to describe how incredible the food is. Great atmosphere, friendly service staff with amazing hospitality from beginning till you step out of the restaurant. It is not that expensive and you should really give it a try. It is a kind of dinning experience you will remember for a long time.
