Contribuiți la feedbackSuch a great experience and the best vegan eating in nara! the restaurant is guided by the chef who is very nice and very helpful. the building is over 100 years old with a warm, domestic interieur. the menu is made from local ingredients and is vegetarian with a whole page of vegan options. highly recommended for adventurous traveling who are looking for an authentic Japanese culinary experience!
A beautiful experience in this old town house partly converted into a vegetarian restaurant. an interesting mix of Japanese and Indian dresses where they sit on the floor, enjoy delicious dishes, such as curry with soyakara-age and brown rice, and tofu kurokke. friendly staff and unforgettable experience.
About 20min to foot, from where all are brains, the owner spoke a little English and understood (vegan and asked if we also ate wobble garlauch. there is a whole menu that has no milk, eggs, yogurt, which is good. we ordered the slim curry with brown rice. it is just curry and rice tasted super great and we were very grateful to find something vegan a short walk away from the glamour.
Organic and vegetarian/vegan food at a reasonable price. From the temple area to the Nara station is just a bunch of minutes more than the fastest route. The two owner are gentle and discrete. Basically you’re at their home, it’s very cozy.
I ate the brown rice omelette with Samosas. My host was extremely obliging and the food was terrific. Keep in mind that they do not accept credit card
