La Botteghina - Napoli

We stayed at the hotel across the road, used this place a couple of times. Limited food selection, but very tasty. Great for a snack rather than a meal. Very attentive, friendly staff

This is a small bar/coffee, with a magnificent view to the Naples Bay, a few tables in the outside, and a very nice atmosphere. The attention is excellent, and they have a large collection of Neapolitan pastries and drinks, noticeably grappas. For consumption at the local or you can buy by the bottle to take away; the same holds for the pastries

We stayed in the Hotel Paradiso across the road from La Botteghina so thought it would be a good place to stop for a drink late afternoon before returning to the hotel. We had a couple of pieces of cake and three small beers between us. The cake was lovely and we were given a bowl of crisps and nuts with the beer. We enjoyed sitting outside the bar that is until we came to pay. The small beers were 6.50 euros each, which was by far the dearest beers we had the whole week. Needless to say we didn't visit the bar again.

What a jewellery! friendly staff, perfect cappuccino and beautiful baked. as English tourist we felt more welcome here than anywhere else.
