Contribuiți la feedbackI really like the concept of this restaurant and it's great that you can customize the coconut milk base with a variety of options. The menu is clearly labeled so you can easily see your choices. My only suggestion would be to add vegan cones to the options.
I wish they offered almond milk as a choice, but everything is clearly labeled. The staff can be a bit clueless at times, so be sure to consult their detailed list for accuracy.
I visited this restaurant with the expectation of trying the almond milk base that was raved about by other reviewers. However, I was disappointed to learn that they no longer offer it and the only vegan option available was coconut milk. My coffee-flavored coconut milk with walnuts and vegan chocolate shavings ended up tasting overwhelmingly of coconut milk and overly sweet. My husband's pistachio-flavored coconut milk blend was slightly better, as the pistachio flavor helped to lessen the strong coconut taste. Overall, we both agreed that almond milk would have been a preferable option.
They have several flavors and toppings that are vegan and you can pick almond milk as the base. I enjoyed creating different flavors and also watching them create the ice cream before my eyes by freezing it with liquid nitrogren. I think this is a great place to take kids too since I think they'll get a kick out of the cloud of liquid nitrogen cooling it off. I like some flavor combinations more than others so I would suggest trying more than one. I especially like the cinnamon flavor and the maple syrup flavor with pecans tastes like butter pecan to me. It is a cool concept and beautiful that they can adapt the cocos milk base with many different options. everything is very clearly marked so they know what their options are. I just wish they had vegan cone!
