Giuseppe And The Lion - Naples

It's an Italian Japanese restaurant . Huge menu with lots of bad food choices. Service while friendly was mediocre at best. Place turns into a club and watched SEVEN armed security guards prepare for the eventual chaos. Not a recommended stop.

We were three couples that went for Happy Hour. The decor, food and value are excellent. The problem is at 6:00 PM live music starts which is also very good but it put a stop to having any conversation with the other couples. The music is very well received with people dancing and enjoying the entertainment. If the music started about an hour later, 7:00 PM it would definately be five stars all around. We will not be returning unless the weather is conducive for outdoor seating or we can find a night when there is not live music starting at 6:00 PM

The food is quite good with many many choices. Early bird, smaller plates are a great value and more than enough to eat. We had a great server and sat in a booth. However, the girls of Motown were performing, and I thought there Performance was spotty and two out of the three looked, fairly awful Well, I would definitely recommend the restaurant. I will never go to see the girls of Motown again

Our fault, we did not realize it was live music the evening that we went. It was so loud that we couldn't hear each other speak. But I have to admit the atmosphere was fun. There was a group of people celebrating my birthday party so lots of dancing so good there. However, found the food to be very overpriced (edamame $13) and just ok. I had a spicy tuna roll that was neither spicy and hardly any tuna. Other dining companion had pasta that had actually no flavor. Having said that, the other two diners enjoyed their meal. Probably will not go back for dinner, but would go back to sit at the bar for happy hour, and listen to music. 

The waiter and the service was great. They tried to make everything right. Food was just OK. I had veal Parmesan and the veal was over cooked. They had entertainment and it was too loud for dinner music. I would try them again only because of their service and trying to make things right.
