Re Lazzarone - Naples

I am not sure why people have given 4.6. I had the octopus. it was well cooked and tasted delicious until it started to taste salty. very very salty. like an accident salty. I also had the pasta with salmon. this one was my fault because I should've read it more carefully since I don't speak Italian much. but the pasta was cooked well. just not the watery cheesey sauce. and the salmon tartare on top had no flavor. salmon has a delicious buttery flavor. this one did not. at the end, I didn't finish the pasta. I took two bites and left it. I am not sure if the staff knew I didn't like it because they offered me lemoncelo. but that might be something they do for everyone.

The best cuisine in Naples. Despite a disappointment the day before, the owner quickly corrected his mistake. It was a great pleasure. The octopus was the best dish I've had in my life. Courgette flowers was amazing! I recommend! See you next time.

Ordered the octopus (polpo), sea bream, and tagliatelle. Supposedly the menu changes regularly. The food is great and very well presented especially for the price. I was very pleased that the food was well seasoned and flavorful without leaning too much on salt. The waiters are very nice and welcoming even for a tourist like me. They treated me with a lot of respect and patience, and were able to speak English which made things simple after a long day of walking around the city. There was a nice surprise offered at the end of dinner which was much appreciated. Not sure if it’s an every day thing.
