Yamada Sushi Poke - Naperville

This is one too many stars. I made an Doordash order at 4:30 and realized they would be busy and take a bit. I was okay with that. At around 6:00 pm, I got a call from my Doordash driver saying him and many other third party delivery drivers were told by the restaurant that they are too busy to deal with online orders and will not be fulfilling them. I find it unprofessional to just decide to not fulfill orders, especially after an hour and a half. They should have come to that conclusion earlier, disabled their accepting orders status on doordash and other apps, and fulfilled the orders they received.Further, I wasn’t able to cancel my order on doordash since they restaurant had already confirmed it. If moved further with the cancellation, I would have only receive a refund for the doordash fees.SO, at this point, even once they’ve decided they couldn’t fulfill online orders, the restaurant should’ve cancelled orders so they wouldn’t be stuck in order limbo, with doordash drivers waiting outside and wasting their time instead of being assigned to other orders.Doordash customer support was no help at all and said they could only give me the refund for the doordash fees, despite their own employee saying the restaurant told them they wouldn’t not fulfill the order.I tried to call the restaurant many times to ask them to cancel my order, but they weren’t answering (shocker).I was really excited to try this food since they have great reviews but will never try their food since I will not be ordering from here again

Spicy tuna roll made both my girlfriend and I sick. As a sushi restaurant, if the patrons can't trust the quality of the fish, then you have a problem. I will not be dining here again due to this.

The sushi was excellent, and the poke bowl was delicious as well. Overall, it's a lovely spot, though it is quite small, so it may not be ideal for large groups. I think I’ll opt for takeout next time, but the staff were friendly, and my family had a great experience.

Lunch for two with miso noodle soup is $48.00 including tips, this way to expensive for lunch.

This is my favorite restaurant, good food, good service.
