Went in late, the night before Cinco de Mayo. Sparsely seated dining room due to the late hour. Food was solid and served quickly. Service was efficient.
Hostess: 6.5/10 (no name)The restaurant was not very busy. She got us tortilla chips that were drenched in grease.Waiter: 10/10 (Vicente)Comment on the waiter: Vicente was extremely friendly and was respectful. Made sure we had water.Food:Flavor: 5/10The food had a weird taste(not sure if it was a soapy taste or something weird). The waiter did keep asking us how the food was. But I feel like when the food is made the first time it should be made right. The $22 bowl of barbacoa was not worth that much. The lemonades we're $4.50 a piece.Environment: 10/10Overall: 6/10Thank you! If you would like me to stop at any of your other locations. I am open to do so for honest reviews.Would I visit again? I probably wouldn't come back unless I saw more of a value. The tortilla chips that were given to us I initially were terrible. I would say if you are going to pay $80 including tip for 2 people everything should be at least an 8/9 out of ten.
The chicken and steak-Fajitas ordered. it comes with rice, bucamole, cheese, sour cream mais tortillas and the best homemade flour tortillas they have everything! you also have to try the Barbacoa quasadillas. so good! also the grapefruit margarita is so delicious and fresh. great service of victoria and manager ej. overall we had a great time and good eating!
We will never go back to Uncle Julio, being in restaurant business they should have mask mandatory for serving staff. Our waiter brought my food was holding the plate to serve and talking to me holding plate in his hand, I refused to eat the food as I felt it’s not Hygienic to eat the food as the waiter was holding and talking over the plate, after that treatment to our table was down when asked for extra salsa we waited but it never came , being 80F weather we had patio seating no one came to ask for any thing, isn’t it unusual not to check on your customers? Colleges and schools are mask mandate why service industry don’t think of the community they serve for living will agree and keep all of us safe ? We spend $85 for two for dinner so it was high end cost getting lowest end service, wish I could give negative review, I would say -5 , let’s insist on mask mandate for service industry.
