Santo Cielo - Naperville

This new gem is truly exceptional! There’s nothing like it in Naperville or anywhere else in the Western suburbs. It felt like we were in The Hamptons, providing an instant vacation vibe just 10 minutes from home. The bar staff is fantastic—extremely knowledgeable and committed to crafting perfectly balanced and unique cocktails. They engage warmly with every customer, showcasing true professionalism. The interior design is stunning, featuring understated elegance with beautiful finishes and impressive views of Naperville. As for the food, they had a limited menu on the Sunday we visited, and we decided to try everything. The small, shareable plates were so delicious that every bite left us craving more. We’re excited to see this place thrive!

I had a wonderful dining experience and I highly recommend this restaurant. Don't overlook the fries; they're excellent! I also tried the squid ink pasta and the meat and potatoes, both of which were delicious. Be sure to ask for Cisco—he's a fantastic server!

The atmosphere is incredibly romantic and upscale. The view of the entire city of Naperville and the river is stunning, adding a special touch to the dining experience. While the lighting in my photos may appear a bit odd, I assure you that everything was DELICIOUS. I was stuffed, yet I didn’t want to stop eating! We visited during restaurant week, so the prices were quite reasonable. Although it can be a bit pricey, it’s definitely worth it for a special date night. The service was excellent and very attentive, with great recommendations. We will definitely be returning!

Downtown Naperville has evolved tremendously, featuring trendy spots that are both family-friendly and stylish, offering intriguing flavors. A rooftop strip and grill is a perfect addition to this scene. Santo Cielo, with its modern Italian theme, provides stunning views, a laid-back atmosphere, and an exciting menu. During our winter break stay at a nearby hotel, I took my 7-year-old son to Santo Cielo, and I was pleasantly surprised to find a fun, child-friendly mocktail for him. The menu is somewhat limited, and I would suggest expanding it a bit to include some familiar appetizers. My son and I went for drinks and small bites; fortunately, he’s an adventurous eater. However, I have a picky eater at home, so I understand the need for more kid-friendly options. It would be great to see some modern takes on classics like cheese sticks, especially since we’re in a family-oriented suburban area. My son was captivated by the view, and we cherished our time together in a very millennial way—connecting with each other in this vibrant setting.

Coming from Chicago, we didn't think a restaurant on the top floor of a hotel in Naperville would be all that special, but it was a lovely dining room and bar area with romantic ambient light. While quiet at 5pm on a Tuesday, by 6pm it was surprisingly lively. We only got drinks but our friend's dad loves the pork bao and they ordered one to go. Cocktails were delicious and strong. Their daily g&t special changes. That day it was cucumber and dill and the market price was $16 but the waiter said it was $15.We also ordered a spicy margarita and the tiki tequila drink, which came in a fun glass and went down too easy. Did I mention the drinks were strong?Our waiter was really friendly and appropriately attentive. Free and plentiful covered parking in the lot across the street was a great surprise. If we were looking for a dinner spot in Naperville, we'd come back here and try the food.
