Pho Chicago Cajun - Naperville

I recently dined out for the first time in quite a while, going on a lunch date with my husband. I decided to try the Pho Tai, and it was absolutely delicious! Usually, I never finish my pho because it tends to get overly salty and monotonous over time, but this one was different. I polished off my bowl and felt incredibly satisfied for the rest of the day. I also ordered some milk tea, which was delightful. My only complaint is about the current tapioca shortage; otherwise, I had a fantastic experience!

We have visited Green Basil several times and have always been very pleased! The food is incredibly fresh, and the combination of flavors is outstanding. We always end up taking some food home to enjoy later because we order a soup or appetizer before our main courses. I truly hope Green Basil stays open in Naperville, as we will definitely be going there more often!

We have always loved Pho. I tried the crispy tofu with broccoli, and it was excellent—packed with plenty of vegetables. I wished to take home a banh mi, but unfortunately, they no longer offer it. Additionally, they don’t serve alcohol. The server was very courteous. Like many restaurants these days, they appear to be struggling a little from the impact of COVID, as there weren’t many customers, and only one table was set up outside. Despite that, we enjoyed a delightful dinner.

My sorority sister and I love Pho. After we finished volunteering, for an organization in Aurora, we were hungry. I Googled for a place near us to get Pho and the Green Basil Restaurant came up in the list. We visited their website and the pictures of thefood were enticing. In addition to that, we took notice that reviews gave 5 stars. That made us want to go. From the moment wewalked into the restaurant, my sister and I knew this restaurant was special. It is quaint with a charming atmosphere. Thehost/waiter Patrick was awesome! He gave us excellent customer service. The restaurant also had my sister and I at the glass ofwater they serve. They have a unique recipe of refreshing water, that we called spa water. It was so refreshing to drink thatit was all that we both wanted to drink. The FOOD WAS SO DELICIOUS! My Soror and I are complete Foodies. We sincerelyappreciate great quality food and everything we ate at Green Basil did not disappoint. We both had a an appetizer order of theChicken Wings and a bowl of Pho Gá with a side of Meatballs. I have eaten Pho at many restaurants around the country. The Phoat Green Basil was very delicious with a surprise element of a half boiled egg added....yum! Adding to the surprise was ChefNick came out to meet and speak to my sister and I. We plan to definitely go back to Green Basil when in the area again.

I've gotten a lot of food to go during covid from Green Basil. They are very courteous (they hand sanitizer before picking up the receipt and handing it over . Their food is DELICIOUS! I'm a drive 1.5 hours during the weekend to get pho at Tank Noodlein Uptown, but this place makes that unnecessary. Adapted really well to covid to go methods. Always a pleasure to order,interact and eat from them : Keep it up!! Thank you!
