Buona Beef - Naperville

Better than Portillo's! Chicago Italian beef and sausage, easily one of the best Italian sausages.

Updating my first review. I went there today, I think I was their 2nd customer of the day since they opened at 11am. The cashier was very friendly, my order came out perfectly. Even though I've gotten the 10 inch sandwich before, this thing seemed HUGE and I didn't get hungry again until around 7pm!

Showed up just before they closed for 2 beers and a cheese fry. Got the food and we’re leaving nearly left the parking lot when a younger guy (Michael? was running after us with the cheese for the fry while it was pouring rain. Oh and the food was incredible tonight. Dude needs a raise for sure

Great food and service. Just a note, you're missing out on some sales on uber eats. There is not an option to add a cup of cheese, or a cup of aus jus. Sometimes I want to add cheese to the kids meal for their fries, or add to my beef sandwich. I would be willing to pay extra for that.

Never heard of Buona before so of course I had to drop in for lunch. The croissant was soft and buttery, and the meat was tender. I could have done with a tad bit more richness of flavor which I thought I’d get with the cheese... but overall pretty good! Shockingly the Caesar side salad was Bomb! I know a strange accolade but definitely get you a side of the greens!
