Beauty The Burger - Naperville

The prices at this restaurant are too high, and my mushroom burger was disappointing. It was overcooked and dry, with ingredients that didn’t meet my expectations. I also ordered a regular chicken sandwich but received something entirely different. Overall, I was very dissatisfied with my experience at this restaurant.

However, the setup in that room was not ideal. The tables were too large, making it difficult to navigate, and some guests were uncomfortably squeezed in. The room itself desperately needs an upgrade; the dark colors and worn-out chairs gave off a poor appearance. There were no coat hangers, the space became uncomfortably hot, and there was a lack of ventilation. Almost all our photos turned out poorly because the damaged chairs made the place look like a cheap pub. Given our experience, it’s clear that we won’t be hosting any more large parties at this restaurant. The party room did not meet our expectations, especially for a venue of this caliber. On a positive note, the food was excellent and delicious—kudos to the kitchen for that!

I placed a delivery order but received the wrong sandwich; instead of a plain one, I got a spicy sandwich. Additionally, the fries were cold and congealed by the time they arrived. My driver took only three minutes to get from the restaurant to my location, so the quick delivery wasn't the issue. While the flavors were decent, the overall quality was lacking.

If burger is in the name, the burgers should be excellent every time. I ordered via Grubhub. The fries and mac'n'cheese were sooo good. But my burger was raw inside. Not rare, raw. I'm willing to try them again based on the other food. But I'll be eating in so I can send the burger back, if needed.

This steakhouse has been a Naperville institution for decades. The “Sure Thing” is a great deal for dinner. Includes salad, steak and desert. The “knockout martini” is an amazing cocktail to start your exceptional dining experience. The wedge salad is classic and the Filet with Gorgonzola butter is delicious. Banana foster desert is very good but the key lime pie is average.
