Squeeze Inn Hamburgers - Napa

Solid diner style burger with an extra star for the cheese skirt. Crispy fried cheese takes this to the next level. So simple and so good. The fries are also real potatoes with some skin on. I grew up in Sacramento so I remember loving this before and it was a fun surprise to find it in Napa today. I also enjoyed the chill vibe compared to going to gotts or something more of scene. It's in a strip mall with some tables inside and a couple tables outside.

Local burger diner spot with good food, nice peeps and an excellent value. Located inside a local strip mall, with a couple of outdoor tables, about half a dozen tables inside and old fashion counter seating. Parking was plentiful on Saturday afternoon. We got a couple of their regular cheeseless burgers with various toppings, wanting to checkout how good they really are without over the top cheese skirt. The order was ready with 5-10 minutes paying at their order area. Made to order fresh ground beef and very fresh sesame seed bun with enough body to hold up the juicy slab of perfectly crusted ground cow. A perfect meat to bun ratio, fresh tomatoes, lettuce and onions; all dressed in mayo, mustard and a pickles. Pro-tip...wrap the burger in one of the napkins to keep the juice from your shirt and hang on to the burger keep it from falling apart as you devour. Leaving the other hand for fries and beverage. It's pretty savage to eat with two hands but this meal deserves it. Fries are washed and double fried with a crisp bite. You know what I'm talking about. Soda fountain in back with a bottled beer assortment including drafts in the front...did I mention they have an happy hour special? We dropped but over 30 for two burgers, drink, a beer and large fries...real food for real people ducats. Proof that five star places, like the ones up and across the highway...including the other popular burger spot with two outlets nearby...you don't need a fat wallet and hype to get great meal.

Im a napa local and also grew up in sacramento so of course I 've been to the original very first squeeze inn thats not there anymore got shutdown for ada compliance lawsuits off fruitridge rd. It was so small you had to SQUEEZE IN! And the burgers were divine. Mom and pop place. The Napa location has cool staff. Also local owned feel not corporate. Heres my suggestions for improvement STRONG URINE SEWAGE SMELL coming from inside and really strong outside the front door 4/26/24. Not appetizing when theres an open sewage stench. Could not escape the odor at any table. Also last 2 visits, the large french fries are like the old medium size portions and have BEEN STALE. Almost like the oil in fryer could use changing. Full of scraps, small pieces of fries. The burger used to be so much better here 3 years ago. Its okay, not bad not super exciting for the price. The pepsi tap in particular is super syrupy like the brix is off. chicken sandwich isnt fresh. They were out of Henhouse brew. Again the urine/sewer smell was overpowering and staff does the minimal effort and is quick to spin the tip screen at you. I got home and have been on the toilet. Thats about it.

This was lunch because, well, who doesn 't want a cheeseburger with a cheese skirt. And yes, it was magnificent. I chose the basic Squeeze Burger all the way (a third pound burger with mayonnaise, mustard, lettuce, tomato, pickles, and onions) and yes, I watched them prepare the cheese skirt by adding the cheese to the grill. Oh, this is going to be good. They have a soda fountain but I didn 't need any of that. Just a side of fries with a bunch of ketchup packets and any concept of a diet is out the window. There is a counter inside with stools but if the weather is nice, sit outside and look at the parking lot. [Review 20998 overall 515 in California 1983 of 2023.

Great tasting food, excellent service, and a family oriented ambiance is the perfect way to describe Squeeze Inn Burgers! My first time going, I ordered to-go over the phone, and the young lady was pleasant and friendly. My order was ready as soon as I walked in to pick it up. I appreciated it being ready in the time frame she quoted. I got back to my destination and opened the burger and all I saw and smelled was PERFECTION! The bun was glistening with sesame seeds, and I have never seen a cheddar cheese ring so beautiful on a burger! The first bite was heavenly, and the cheese ring compliments the burger and all of its delicious toppings. I had fries to go with it, and they too were fried to perfection with ranch sauce on the side for dipping. This is my new place whenever I'm in the area for lunch. Can't wait to go back!
