This is my usual hot dog stop spot.. got here 30 mins before they say they close online and it is all locked up tight.. you should update your hours, considering that you might have people coming in. Took a detour from Calistoga just to get a fix.. very disappointed.Service: 1/5
The best hotdogs in town,I should say in the whole county, everything looks and tastes fresh and the lady attending the place is very nice she provides great service, very professional.Food: 5/5
Not the greatest hotdog in the world, nor is it the worst. Buns are sometimes over-steamed to the point of being soggy. Toppings are fresh. Chili is really bland. Not a destination but worth indulging you are in the immediate area and need a frankfurter fix.
Update: I 'm really not buying the owner 's response below and think he 's been duped by his employees. There were 2 other people waiting when I arrived and one had called the restaurant and was told they 'd be back in 20 minutes. How could they be working in the back for so long and never wonder why there were no customers during the peak lunch period? I toured the back kitchen when the business was for sale. It 's literally a fridge, a sink, and an open pantry. They were probably out back hanging out or ran an errand. Anyway, lots of other comments about rude and unsanitary staff during COVID and the owner obviously was against mask wearing too based on the responses. No thanks. That works in the privacy of your own life, but not in public spaces or in terms of food handing during a pandemic. Gross. They lost a lot of customers over that based on the comments. Many more didn 't bother to review! People who refuse to mask don 't often wash their hands either! I knew the Napa Sac 's Hotdogs was for sale before the pandemic, and I was in the area on Friday so I decided to stop by. There were two people standing outside looking confused and waiting when I got there; it was around lunchtime during their posted operating hours, but they were closed with no sign on the door about it. Finally, one guy, who was on his phone, said he was told they 'd be back in 20 minutes. I was starving and left. I ate at In n Out instead. You can 't run a business like this. Often, people only have a 30 minute lunch break, but even if they have an hour, who 's going to wait 20 minutes for someone to show up? On a Friday? So disappointing. If you leave during business hours put a note on the door at least! Geez. I won 't be back.
