Contribuiți la feedbackHands down the BEST Hand-Carved Turkey sandwich ever! The Matzoh Ball Soup was great. The few others I've tried were bland. This had flavor. The (5) Mini Potato Latkes were yummy. I'll be back, for sure.
The smoked salmon on a bagel was legit. I 'm originally from NJ so I know my bagels. Sadly the babka I ordered was stale, over baked, and tiny. Maybe only order that early in the day. Otherwise, *chefs kiss*
The latkes were delicious. The Reuben was quite good, as was the brisket meat. However, what was presented as mashed potatoes was a thin soup liquid. Dreadful. Inedible and just weird. The coleslaw was so over salted that it was inedible. The cookie was very good. This meal was a roller coaster of ups and big downs
The turkey sandwich was a poor excuse of a sandwich especially at $18.00 I wouldn't pay $8.00 for it. And even worse coming from a self proclaimed Jewish deli??? Go back to New York and start again. Soggy lettuce, very little turkey, the bread was soggy, fries were cold...
The Smoked Salmon Sandwich was fantastic. I added tomato to mine and it was prefect. I tried the Matzoh Ball Soup with the added herbs and spices and it was better than the plain. I'd been worried it's be too lemongrass forward and it wasn't at all. Pricey spot, yes, even for Napa but I'll be back, for sure.
