Iwao's Cafe - Naoshima

Delicious donburi, filling and savory, portion size was just right. can be made vegan. menu is in English, and employees are native speakers English when we left. also the zenzai and kakigori were good. a little expensive. limited options (donburi was the only vegetarian pornstar on the menu, but I think they can ask). and the other menu options (the flesh had) had portions that were a bit small

The sandwich was not available, but the owner offered me a vegan version of another plate that donburi and with tofu instead of ei (which is normally in the plate). the owner is very vegan conscious so that was also really nice. the general atmosphere of caffe was really good. they also sell kimonos and other things.

Read here about this place and saw them a vegan sandwich option. we ordered it and it was thought to marinaded veg, salat and tofu. first there was no tofu second it came with salat dressing that is not vegan. I've discovered this before eating. they changed it, but my new sandwich had hardly any slender in it, mainly salate. brot was okay. beside salad was nice but small. set of sandwich, salad juice for ¥1000 so not great. had to eat somewhere else! nice setting, although friendly staff.

We were here because Genmai was from the food. it said seven inseln on the sign outside. the sandwich is okay, but not really fill. the lunch menu (with a small cabbage on the side and Shizo-Limonade) costs 1000y, I would try to find another place next time. many mosquitoes in the backyard.
